x Übersicht Public Farms/Ranches
Public farms and ranches in ArcheAge are things that players may come across but never really use them. This is a strange thing for me and I want to introduce people to the concept of public farms and ranches. They are extremely useful for players when starting out in the game because they can be used at any level. Public farms and ranches should be used regularly by free players because they don’t own the land and don’t have to pay taxes for it.
For those who are unaware, scattered throughout the lower level zones you can find public farms and ranches. You can tick the category on your map so that you can see exactly where they are. These public farms and ranches allow you to place specific crops, saplings and livestock. These are then protected for a period of 24 hours. This allows you to grow extra materials on top of what you already get from your farm, or if you don’t have a farm at all then you can at least obtain some materials. There are 3 types of public farms. Here is a list and what can be placed on them.
- Public Farm (Limit: 10) – Potato, Cucumber, Carrot, Onion, Barley, Rice, Chick
- Public Ranch (Limit: 5) – Duckling, Gosling, Turkey Chick, Chick, Rice, Barley
- Public Nursery(Limit: 5) – Grapevine, Fig Tree, Apple Tree, Lemon Tree, Hornbeam Tree, Avocado Tree
We have gone all over the zones in game and made maps that are marked with the locations of the public farms and ranches. In addition to that we have also included images of what you can place on each one. The public tree farms in particular will be very valuable at the start so they might fill up fast. Just remember to come back before 24 hours have passed or you risk losing your stuff. Click the image to enlarge it.
